Music Educator for 26 years, in the New Jersey Public Schools. He holds a BA+30 in Music Education. Music entertainment professional with over 30 + years experience in the industry, possessing a unique blend of skills in recording and live performances. Main instruments are all saxophones, flutes and bass clarinet. Strong knowledge and experience in recording in a wide variety of music genres including R&B, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Pop, Rock, Gospel and Adult Contemporary.

David is truly a “force to be reckoned with” when it comes to teaching. His love and enthusiasm for teaching ignites a real fire in his students and makes them want to be the best they can be. He possesses a B.A. + 30 in Music Education with a minor in jazz. He taught for 10 years at Bayonne High School in Bayonne, New Jersey as the Band Director from 1984-1994. While at Bayonne, he developed the curriculum for their 1st Jazz Class for credit. The class included jazz history, jazz improvisation, analyzing music and ensemble playing. Bayonne was the 2nd district in the state to have such a class, at that time. He also taught at Harrison High School in Harrison, New Jersey for 8 years as the Music Director and ran the entire music program on his own from 1994-2002. His responsibilities included Marching Band, Concert Band, Concert Choir, Jazz Ensemble, General Music and numerous small ensembles. His Concert Choir sang in 5 languages and his Marching Band became the 1st Competitive Band Harrison had ever seen. His Band grew from 12 to 45 members in the 1st 3 years and his Chorus went from 23 to 72 members. He has a total of 26 years experience, 18 years at the High School level and 7 years at the Middle School level. All of his private saxophone and flute students are from ages 10 to 35. He has led award winning Jazz Ensembles, Concert Bands, Marching Bands, and Concert Choirs. David has 8 students who have gone on to become music teachers themselves due to the inspirational nature of his teaching techniques.
